Two and a Half Month-But Done!!!

I wanted to share with everyone that visits my blog what I have been busily trying to complete before Christmas. I bought this 2 years ago for Lathan when he was about 4 months old. Well good intentions finally were finished Today!!! Hip Hip Hurray. I love working with my hands and fingers and found this project to be soothing and time consuming. It took about 2 and a half months on and off, but well worth the time and effort. My great grandmother Longauger made me and all my siblings a stocking just like this style long ago, so I wanted to share in the joy and tradition with my son. I hope he has this for a very long time and beyond my years and will see it always and remember me.

Beth, it is gorgeous! I am so impressed. I know Lathan will treasure it!!! Congrats on a beautiful finished product. Did you have a pattern? You should do a post on how you made it ... I'm so curious about the process!

Wifee,
I like how our little plastic christmas tree is laboriously holding onto that stocking with it's pathetic and pliable branch. ; ) HA! Good job on the stocking wifee.

That is one sweet stocking! You could survive in the wilderness with it. I like.

Thanks Fam, Keri I will post a how to post about it, Husband, you can always buy me a nice BIG Strong tree with your millions, and Nate, I don't plan on roughing it out in the wilderness but it is a thought if I do, I will be sure to pack it.
