I know I post alot of pics of my two sons and of Ben in the backyard, but really, really I have so many memories being stored into my head in this little house we call home. Our backyard sort of flourished this year after many hours of joyous labor planting bulbs, seeds, and vegetables, that the coolest biproduct of having such beautiful plants and overgrown flowers is that there within it all lies an ecosystem all in itself. Lathan can spend countless hours, literally, finding huge green grasshoppers, preying mantis, fuzzy caterpillars, snails and slugs, spiderwebs, spiders, butterflies, and the best hidden beneath the soil, a treasure if you unearth it, the red worm. I enjoy our little ecosystem and the beautiful and unforgettable memories it has brought. Ben and Lathan also surprised me with a bull snake that was brought home in a box. Unfortunately momma won and the snake had to find a new home, but I took this pic the day it was re-homed.

Woohoo! An update!!! We could never get tired of seeing your yard or your boys:) Your yard sounds like a little slice of Eden - I am determined to see it in person one day! The bull snake in a box story made me laugh...oh I'm glad Momma won on that one:) Great pics, thanks!
